K1 visa Questions - (jobs and Visa)
So im still not not out of the woods with the whole visa process but i am waiting for my Medical and interview.
What are the chances of being rejected still? Does it happen fairly often at the interview stage?
(I only ask this as just getting the first part cleared was very exciting and it felt like a mini victory and that the rest of the process would be fine.)
So my situation for when I do eventually move..
well my wife has a full time salary job and Rented property in which i would be moving into with her of course.
Should I be applying for jobs is it worth it? I sent out a few feelers not a single reply.
My future wife says work insures me...
but i will not have a job for most likely 1-2 months of arriving or at least a good enough job that offers plans like that.
I also have a English driving license with no claims on insurance do i need to take an american test? will my insurance be lower as i have no claims?
Sorry for the wall of text but as everyone in this process i have a million and one questions.

Does your fiancee work? Once you're married you can be put on her health insurance until you find a job of your own.

You are unlikely to get any interest whatsoever when you have no visa and are not in the country. Even USC's who are repatriating (i.e. they don't need a visa or work authorisation, and already have a SSN) report that potential employers pay no attention to job applications until they get back to the US.
When I was in process for my CR1 marriage visa I had to actually visit the US before anyone would interview me, and I was looking in a relatively specialist field. Given that you'll not get your EAD for 60 or so days, you're wasting your time doing anything other than evaluating your qualifications, general job/career research and networking until you're within 2-4 weeks of being ready to start work (EAD in hand, SSN applied for). Sorry.

Chances of getting a job depends on field and location.
Once you get married and send in the AOS packaged, you can work once you get the EAD in hand, which is 60-90 days once package is received, so you won't be working within a couple of months. Technically you're work authorised on the K1, but you don't have proof and realistically, no one will touch you.
Driving, you'll be starting from scratch, as a spotty 15 year old.
