In my excitement, I originally posted this under the wrong forum, so I'm re-posting it here...

Just a note to let people know that we got our first NOA today (Nov 21) from the Vermont Service Center. We sent the forms in on Oct 18th (the day VCS closed for the anthrax scare).

Yay! I feel like things are actually moving now...

Hi All!

I finally received mine from Vermont as well today. I sent mine on Oct.26 and it
arrived on the 29th. Now will #2 come before the end if the year? The woman on the
phone said 15 to 21 days.

Just to update this...

I finally got through to the automated line at the VSC and found out that our paperwork had been entered into the system on November 9th. Our lawyer didn't get the Notice of Action in the mail till November 21st. (he didn't bother telling me the action date.) Anyway, the automated line said that currently I-129 cases are being processed in 15-21 days... which means we could potentially get our approval any day now!

Unless, of course, I have this figured all wrong?
