Sorry if I'm being a pest here, but it seems no-one wants to get together here... I'm the organiser for the Chicago Expats group on meetup.com and we're meeting up this Saturday: http://brit.meetup.com/50/events/4784376/
If any of you would like to join us, you are more than welcome - my pic is on the page as the organiser and I'll have a table-top sign for "CHICAGO EXPAT BRITS".
