just filling in DS-230 need help

ive just sat and filled in the DS-230 to go to the embassy, but my question is on my childrens DS-230 it asks for a signature at the bottom, who is to sign it, me , them or my USC, any advice would be appreciated

Hi:

I use age 14 as a rough dividing line. For young children I have the parent sign their own name and write after it "(mother)".
