So I take it this is advertising. Why would anyone pay someone to find them a job? Seems to me that most companies are willing to pay an agency to find suitable employees. BTW how much do these services cost???

I have used them as well and they are rather good. When people search for a job and can't find a suitable position after months of searching, you need to get some professional help.

Yes, but why pay someone to find you a job when reputable agencies will do so for no fee???

most headhnters do not work for the employees, they work on search assignments contracted by the employers. Once they find a suitable employee and there is a hiring, they get a commission from the employer.

The problem is that in the process of searching for the right candidate they skip hundreds of job seekers with less flashy resumes or perhaps less qualified. While you don't pay a fee to those job search agencies, they have no interest in finding you a job unless you serve their purpose.

FindJobs USA work for the employees, seeking employment based on a tailored search assignment that fits the individuals needs, that is why you pay for the service.

Sorry but I think it is total BS that you have to pay an agency to find you a job. If the agency is able to find you a job, that means the job must be out there listed somewhere and an applicant can apply for it without employing an agency to do so on their behalf. So basically what this type of service does is prey on the hopes of those who may not be in the first line for a job. BTW is the money paid up front, or on the provision of a job?

They usually charge upon placement and when there is a firm job offer.

In the US job market you have to be fast and employ an means to get the job first. Whether you employ a resume service to help you with the drafting of a cover letter and resume or hire somebody to help you find a job, as long as you get the job that is what matters.

Actually our experience has been totally opposite. HR departments here seem to be as slow as molasses, everyone we know that has been hired, the process has taken forever from the moment of interview up until the actual start date. So many procedures to follow.

I guess after they get you the job and you pay them $500 then you pay them to get you the visa. Is that right?

you can either use them or any other service to process the work visa, the client is not obligated to proceed with them in that respect.

where do you live?
