Your AOS papers do not go to the TSC but to the local INS office. You send them to TSC and you will only be wasting time because they will return them to you for filing at the local Florida office.
As for the EAD, have him walk into the local office and ask for the 90 day EAD. If they won't give it to him, see if the employer will let him work with only the K-1 as proof. If not, then you are screwed until he obtains the one year EAD.
