When we arrived in the US for the first time with 2 kids in tow and our brand new visas, it took us 2.5 hours to get through immigration at JFK- welcome to America!! The queue was massive. The 2nd time after a trip backup the UK it was 2 hours and our most recent time was 30minutes. You just never know. We always book an Uber to pick us up. We book it when we get through baggage collection. There are so many around the airport and you'll never have to wait more than 15minutes for one to arrive. Welcome!
