Oh Ray, you are awful, but I do like you. Can't remember the name of the comedian that used to say that when he was dressed as a tart.

I couldn't remember her name. Shame, I used to enjoy his shows.

I hope people are referring to the new ML, not the old one

The old one was basically the worst car mercedes have brought out in 20 years by most peoples accounts

the x5 on the other hand was the least depreciating car in the UK until very recently and has excellent build quality and a great 6 cylinder engine which has more horsepower than the big V8 in the Grand Cherokee

x5 drives like a beefed up 5 series estate - no bad thing

The only downside to the x5 is that is it crap for off roading and that Porsche have an SUV which is even better (although looks are a bit suspect)

Porsche Cayenne, has a major problem, with front tires wearing unevenly. Was & still is a known problem. My brother in UK, bought a brand new one & hated it. He sold it after 11 months (Low mileage), took a big hit. Had to replace the expensive front tires before he could sell. Didn't care, just wanted to get rid of it.

I had 2 brand new Jeep GCL's fully loaded. Do not buy a used Jeep, without a full comprehensive warranty.

I know, there has been a few issues with the cayenne, mostly affecting first year models. Didnlt know the tyre wear was still an issue

Even if I had the spare cash in my back pocket the Porsche Cayenne is one Porsche I would never want to own, whats the phrase for a Cayenne owner "More money than style".

The ML and X5 are (at least) twice the price of the Liberty. They're not competitors.

Not sure, know it was still a problem early 2005. My brother hated the Cayenne, within the first couple of weeks.

Have to agree, with that. Buyer, would consider ML versus X5, Liberty would not be in or anywhere near that group.
