I hope people are referring to the new ML, not the old one
The old one was basically the worst car mercedes have brought out in 20 years by most peoples accounts
the x5 on the other hand was the least depreciating car in the UK until very recently and has excellent build quality and a great 6 cylinder engine which has more horsepower than the big V8 in the Grand Cherokee
x5 drives like a beefed up 5 series estate - no bad thing
The only downside to the x5 is that is it crap for off roading and that Porsche have an SUV which is even better (although looks are a bit suspect)
The old one was basically the worst car mercedes have brought out in 20 years by most peoples accounts

I had 2 brand new Jeep GCL's fully loaded. Do not buy a used Jeep, without a full comprehensive warranty.

I know, there has been a few issues with the cayenne, mostly affecting first year models. Didnlt know the tyre wear was still an issue
