Java, J2ee Developer work, E3 visa
Hi there, I am just putting the feelers out to see if anyone may know what the work situation is like for a java, j2ee sofware architect developer in the US. This is my husbands field of work and he has worked in the US before in 1999/2000 on a H1B visa. He has a maths degree and about 20 years plus experience of software contracting for major companies. He is Australian so would be entitled to an E3 visa this time. We are in the UK but am interested in a stint in the US again either NYC or California. Is the market good out there or is it a case of not enough jobs for the locals and work being outsourced? Just putting the feelers out really to see if anyone else is in this line of work and any advice. Thanks in advance.
