When we lived in the Dallas area we would take I-45 on the way to visit Galveston and the Bolivar Peninsula and we would go right through Houston without stopping.
Galveston was nice but the journey to the beach was about 325 miles for us.:ohmy: |

From what I've seen of Houston, I can take it or leave it. I don't much like cities anyway. I prefer bum**** nowhere in the countryside.
