I have an awkward situation.. my very handsome and hip-urban-dude neighbor turned up at every event this summer in... wait for it... capri pants.

I can't look at him the same way since this topic came up on BE. How would I know who to scorn???

I have to say the 'brit look' is better than the American look of all members of the family walking around in the same Mickey Mouse Hawaiian shirt and matching shorts and ears.

As for driving here...well. It's a Free for all!!. Bash your way in and out on the freeways here. I don't think i've seen a polite driver in LA yet.

I am still stumped why CA is so broke with all the taxes here and wealth. I can't fathom it out. Maybe someone can explain.
