It's Official- Hershey's Really is Crap!
 

Brits in general already know that Hershey chocolate is awful but even some Americans will be avoiding it now.

Due to higher cost of ingredients, Hershey's is removing Cocoa Butter from many of it's popular chocolate candies, and replacing it with cheaper Vegetable Oil.

The package labels are changing too, because the FDA says anything containing vegetable oils cannot be called "Milk Chocolate".

I can't believe that my kids eat that stuff...it truly is solidified vomit :ohmy: Give me tainted Cadbury's chocolate any day ;)

I don't understand how anyone can eat any american chocolate, when I get given some I don't know whether to put it in my mouth or stick a wick in it.

It isn't just the chocolate, there is a whole list of things that either have no taste or taste horrid e.g. Butter, tea, bacon, bread, veggies ....I could go on for ever

I bought some of Tesco's own brand milk chocolate bar, and I think it was like 28p, anyway it was devine next to Hersheys, damn good chocolate even sainsburys own was better. :thumbsup:

Tesco hasn't ventured this far east yet. You can buy Cadbury at 'finer' groceries in this area but it is still made by Hershey and tastes like wax.

No I know :D sorry I am rude I always assume we all know where each other lives lol, I have just been back from the UK, I live in California.

And actually Tesco's is here on the west coast http://www.freshandeasy.com/ just trading under a different name but some of the goods have the Tesco label on :D
