It's funny how..............

Re: It's funny how..............
I dont know, I guess I've always been comfortable in my own skin and don't suffer from loneliness too badly, which I think helps a lot. I dont really have any real friends here yet and hardly ever go out, but I'm still content. I have also done a short stint in the US before (1 year) so maybe that has helped.
I should also apologise if this upsets people who are just not in the same place as me right now.

I know what you mean. I just feel like I have finally found my place. At risk of sounding like soppy sod rather than the usual silly one; it isn't necessarily the USA but with my USC wife and step daughter and happens to be in the USA. At 37 years old I had drifted happily from girl to girl, flat to flat, club to club and so on. Always vaguely aware that - there has to be more to life than this - type of thing. And then I met this mad american girl who crossed the world twice for me and never let me down. She still hasn't and is still true to our vows - in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, whether nobhead or not ha ha. How often does life throw something that bloody fantastic into your path without you even looking for it? I may be a lucky sod, and certainly a silly sod.....but I aint daft!!! in innit
