Thanks for the feedback guys and gals. I've got no idea what the whole Karma thing means on this site but thankyou to those of you who have sent some good karma my way.
With regards to the meetup suggestion I don't want to come over as a newbie who is yearning for contact with non-americans. I am however quite interested in other peoples stories and can't think of a better way to compare notes on our various journeys than over a beer. So... if there are any re-located Brits in and around St. Louis who would be interested in a meetup someday, please feel free to email me or PM me.

No... I don't, nor have I ever sold windows although the story is that my dads ancestors back in pre WWI Eastern europe (poland or czechoslovakia) used to send their kids round the town while most folk were at Synagogue to throw stones through peoples windows !!
