The comparison between that kind of facility and a small community for-profit hospital is enormous and your experience will be very different.

There is great demand for nurses in NC. I only have to look at the local papers at the weekend to see the pages of vacancies plus every couple of months there seems to be some nursing/medical recruiting fair occuring.

Fatbrit> Uhhhhh, I am miserable. There's another forum called "British Embassy" that I sometimes visit ... and it abbreviates to BE too. What a weekend, what a Friday (got lost trying to find the meeting place for Glasgow Uni alumni (DC area chapter) ... worked my butt off (worked all through Saturday night writing up what turned out to be a 50 page heavy weight biotech patent application) - and I have yet another heavy cold and a nasty-won't-go-away-sinus-headache ... never had them before - two on the trot is worrying. Only Sudafed(R) seems to do "anything".
Even Hellboy has an off weekend. Where's Liz. Maybe the upcoming trip to Vegas will cure me of this sinus sore head. I was in the supermarket and my nose spontaneously (i.e. without any warning) leaked over a meat section and leaked at the checkout, horrible experience. I have had a towel over my head over a bowl of hot water laced with sinus clearing chemicals. That didn't work. Zycam was supposed to help, it did nothing. Boy sinus is Hell. Talking about hell, I bought the Hellboy DVD and played it Sunday; yeah it got panned by the critics, but I thought Ron Perlman was brilliant as Hellboy ... was pretty good in Alien Resurrection too, imho ... sorry, I am a movie buff and now I'm a Hellboy fan. Topped off a surreal weekend.
How was your weekend Fatbrit. Pull anything?

Let me know. All contract work, and there's an IRS 1099 at the end of year.

For nasty colds, I recommend the amber liquid. I had mine before Xmas so hopefully that’s out of the way now.
Not done much. Went for a pleasant walk in South Mountain Park yesterday – it was t-shirt and shorts weather. Even had to switch the air on in the car on the return as it was getting a little unpleasant.
Generally stuck at home as wife is writing essays for her Master’s.
Chin up, old chum!

I prefer AutoCAD 3D specialists with a lot of experience of drafting patent application drawings but I will consider a retired (i.e., always available) at home AutoCAD 3D specialist willing to master the patent office drawing rules. I insist that all our contract work is done on a home computer and in 3D so that they can be rotated and sectioned.
