Default Interview for London

Finally got my police record (or rather a letter saying i didn't have any record of me having a police record), so i've filled in the 2 forms to send off to the embassy in London.

Now what ? Will i get my interview and medical on the same day ? Who long does it normally take from them receiving the forms ?

Also, does anybody know what these admin period is after the interview now ?

Default Re: Interview for London

Hi,
If the police report you got has blue lines at the top and bottom, that's the one the INS want.
I'm not sure what type of visa you're going for, but mine was a
spousal one.
I sent in my OF-169 on the 6th June and on the 20th June
recieved packet 4 confirming my interview date for 10th July.
I think a lot depends on what travel date you put on the form
(I put 15th July) so perhaps that speeded it up.
The interview and medical will be on the same day and it normally
starts at 8am and is over by 1 (ish)
Dependant upon your visa type and your surname, dictates
whether you go to the interview or medical first.
I'm not sure what you mean by "admin period after the interview"
In the case of the spousal visa, (I believe the same applies for the fiancee visa) if you pass the interview and medical you get the visa the same day and could theoretically
catch the tube to Heathrow !!!
But it's not advisable to book a flight just in case !!

I hope this helps

Good luck
