International Auto Source
I have now ordered a Ford Fiesta Sedan in Candy Blue from IAS, I must say I've been very impressed by their prompt replies to my emails, so far I would definitely recommend them. I am not leasing but will get the vehicle on finance so this will rebuild my credit.

Congratulations! I am a fan of both IAS and Fords, though I think the Fiesta is a bit small to be sharing the road with American pick-ups and 4x4s, not to mention 18-wheelers.

I've tried to explain this. He didn't really have any of it.
Should be a fun experience for him!

Hiring a tiny car is particularly daft when the cost/day increment for each notch up the vehicle size ladder is only $2-$3. There is no excuse for hiring anything smaller than a Fusion/Mondeo, Impala, Camry, Altima, etc.

much as it pains me, I have to admit that I agree with Pulaski on this.
When we moved here I was so looking forward to having a nippy little car after 11 years of driving a "mom-mobile" aka a ford galaxy..
I bought a honda fit (Jazz in the UK). Loved it. Until I had to go on a highway (concrete) with massive SUVs and in the rain it felt like a deathtrap. Me vs an SUV wasn't going to end well.
I now have a Prius V (estate) and this is great. I wouldn't go any smaller. If you can, get a focus. My OH had one and it was just perfect for a commute.

My other half drives a Nissan versa and we've both agreed thats the smallest we would go.
When we go places I usually drive and so take the Ford fusion full size sedan.
The versa does get about 10 more mpg, but I prefer a bigger car.
Once we get set up in the house and have a driveway big enough I think I'll look into also getting a truck.

Currently driving around in a chevy sonic (turbo) rental haha....I actually really like it
I still agree though, as much as I like it I will be glad when we have a Ford F150 again.

We've ordered from IAS too following advice from on here. Waiting for our delivery of a Ford Explorer in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to not having to catch an Uber to the supermarket!

Re: International Auto Source
I think it may have been one of Pulaski's persausive posts that got me making contact with International Auto Source.
We've made the decision to move to Philadelphia for 3 years via my husbands employer - L1 intra-company transfer. I think its about a month ago now the immagration lawyers asked for our passport details. we really hoping to make the move for September.
I'm hoping we can get a Land Rover Discovery Sport - flexible 7 seats, not too big, not too small, room for two dogs in the back...

I used them back in 2003 and they were awesome - bought a 2003 Ford Focus (Chicagoland) and they fully delivered.
