Indiana?
 
My Hubby just got offered a job in Crane Indiana.... any info of that area and any Brits out there, we are just about to close on a house in Jersey and this great job comes up , Hubby is talking about nothing else..ugh!

I'm a native of Kentucky. I can't tell you if any Brits are there, but I can tell you that it's in the middle of nowhere. I'd never heard of it, til you started this thread. If you are country people, you may like it. But if you like a nice sized town/city, you'll find yourselves driving a good distance to find a decent number of shops. Looks like it's not too bad a distance to a couple of state parks, so you may like that if you are the outdoors type. Otherwise, it might be cow-tipping and visiting your local Walmart for entertainment! :rofl: Wish I could be more helpful!

Crane is in the middle of nowhere and is tiny, population only 200, I guess thats why the naval base is there :eek:

Nearest 'civilization' would be Bloomington, which is a fair sized university city.
