Building it AND shipping it.

The US transport company fncked up though. It took the crate two weeks to go from my old home in Holland to New York by ship, and then 6 weeks to go to my new home here in Texas.

No, because of all the paperwork to cross each state line......

rushman, people import antiques to the US allatime from Europe. Maybe there is an antiques website with this info?

I had three small tables sent over to the US by Simpsons with the rest of my stuff, two of them were mahogany. No questions were ever asked about whether they were treated.
