in an ideal world i would love to live and work in florida but alas reading through here over the past weeks i realise how hard and complecated it is as i have no money no trade no bussiness plan etc i'm just a normal geezer who wants to stay there so my chances are looking grim i don't think the illegal way is the way to go but my girlfriend is willing to marry me would this make anything easier ?
i know you get questions like this alot but please any help would be fantastic thank you

Jesus Christ, if your girlfriend is willing to marry you then marry her instead of playing Russian Roulette with the Visa Waiver Program. 3/4 stays in one year is not a problem. But if your next stay is going to be for the full 90 days, then your may have problems. Sounds like marriage is your best (legal) option.

Your chances of an employment visa is Zero...
The only option is marriage to a US citizen...

To summarise:

The only way you're going to be living and working in Florida is by marrying your USC girlfriend. If you're not ready for that, take some more time and wait until you are ready. Meanwhile, you're going to be living in the UK. Bear in mind that it will take a few months to process the fiance visa when you decide that you are ready for the big commitment.

As far as the VWP goes, no-one can tell you for sure whether or not you will be refused entry. The more often you use it, the more likely it is. However, there are plenty of cases of people who have used it several times in one year and have had no problems. There are also plenty of cases of people who have been turned back at POE.

What is your employment in the UK and how come you are able to take 3 months off?

marraige is a big deal to me too, that's why I find it advantageous to live in the same country as my wife.

being married allows this to happen.

To be honest, most big companies these days allow you to take up to a years unpaid leave. Most of my friends companies do and I work for a major building soc in the UK and we can take min 3 month max 1 year unpaid leave and come back.

yeah I believe you.........but it's the POE officer whom you need to convince.

but the whole concept of taking more than 10 days vacation in the USA seems to be completely cuckoo.

Oh yeh I completly understand that. It's pants that you have to fight for you vacation over there!!!

Snooky, I would get a letter from your employer as well stating they have given you the unpaid leave off and that you have a job to return to when you come back. Just as an extra bit of back up!!
