Question Immigration by buying a US business

Does anyone have any idea if immigration can be achieved from the UK by buying an existing business in the United States?
I am aware of the investor visa however do not have the $$$'s it requires.
My budget would only be up to $150k,is it posible to gain permanent residential status via this means?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

No.

If you buy a business in the US you will be allowed to come over and look after it on a E2 Visa. The E visa is a non immigrant visa and is only valid as long as you own the business, if the business fails you have to leave the country immediatly.

The other problems with it is that you have to maintain a residence in your country of residence and anyone who comes with you (wife and children) are not allowed to work.

You cannot, at any time, no matter how long you have resided in the US on an E visa change it to a resident visa and have any of the resident benefits.

Oh I forgot, you can't borrow any money on your US business on an E visa you can only use your own cash.

Could one then buy any business, say, even a $10,000 one and then live in the US ?

Could one buy a corner shop and live in the US?

There must be some stipulations?

Yours curiously

I think that you have to be able to prove that you could reasonably expect to support yourself and your family on the income the business will generate.

If you want to do this you really do need the advice of a good immigration attorney experienced in obtaining this sort of visa.
