My interview is getting closer and closer, thankfully! I know it advises not to, but, I booked my flight ticket for two days after the interview.

However, I'm nervous. Why? I don't know :( Are these feelings perfectly normal? I've checked, double checked and triple chcked my forms and supporting documents for the interview, even bought a file from W H Smiths to keep it all neat and tidy with little inserts *grins*.

Still though I'm driving my other half nuts when I keep saying "What if I don't get the visa?". My interview is in London. Did everyone else feel this way who went through the K1 experience?

You have two options: search "London Experience" in http://groups.google.com -- used
the advanced search to limit answers only to this newsgroup if you like.....or take
up drinking hard liquor. With the latter option, even if you come across like a
blithering idiot at the interview, they will think it is your accent. If you have
someone who can slap you hard, that would be another way, but would be more painful
(but as effective) than the other two options.

London K1 experience
 

I was a nervous wreck when I went to the embassy to get my K1 visa, but it was relatively painless and I was very relieved when I finally got it all taken care of! It can be very nerve-racking, but they aren't evil or anything- a lot of people are there for the same reason, to get visas in some form or another and they're all equally as tense as you are :) I am over here in SC and getting ready for my AOS interview in a few weeks. You'll be nervous for a long time to come! But it's all worth it in the end.
