I'm leaving on a jet plane....
I have not been the most prolific poster, but I read often and you little lot on the USA boards have been a wonderful resource both for the practical things you need to know about moving to, and living in the US of A, but also, for my mental health
Being an H4 wife in my somewhat stepford like area has been at times a bit draining, and being able to log on to expats and have a good laugh at the great posts by people who generally don't take themselves too seriously, have a bloody great sense of humour, and understand all about the roller coaster ride of loving the place and then feeling homesick etc has been brilliant.
I fly out of DFW in the morning for our move to Edmonton, Canada (new job for hubby) and I will be reading as usual but just wanted to say a huge thank you before I checked out of the country as I lose my internet connection at lunch time today.
Thanks again everyone!

All the best.
Just 'cos you're living in Canada doesn't mean you can't use this forum...don't be a stranger.

Thanks everyone!!
I'm not sure about leaving Stepford, are the Canadian women given to being Stepford like I wonder?
Ray - apologies for not posting enough- I will try and rectify that

Great stuff, good luck with the move, and don't blame ya, 10 year old project is enough to make anyone go barmy
