its a mix of regular houses, condo's & apartments.... the condo's and apartments are largely complex based.

It will be another month before we actually have somewhere tho so all these places could come to naught once we see them in person.

Sitting in Panera's typing this!!!

I'm just behind Algonquin (sp?) on the edge of Schaumburg and Palatine in the Lakes of Schaumburg.

Thought Dominicks was good but a little pricy on some stuff, like everyone else looks like shopping isn't a one stop thing.

Thanks all!

Actually I was at the counter in Borders the other night buying xmas pressies, and there was one next to me. Lovely gold chain he had on hee hee! He winked at me when he left, grinned and rolled his eyes at the Americans there. I just smiled back. Weird chap.

That is strange as every single British person I have met since beeing here has been strange also. So I generally try to avoid talking to anyone who I hear have a British accent now, much to the amusement of my wife who think I should get on with anyone British, just because they are British!

I met really, really strange guy in our local Binny's a few months back who claimed to be a cheese historian! Strange, very strange he watch for us to go out and watch the world cup in a new British pub that had opened, I have not frequented the place since just on the off chance I bump into him.

jusara is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Re: Illinois area groceries

Not much to split Dominicks or Jewel but if you want (to pay for) good stuff including decent cheese try Whole foods (Or as we call it Whole Pay Cheque!)
