illegal mexican marriage

Hello,
What would happen if a Canadian citizen marries a Mexican which has been in Canada illegally. Would he become an immigrant? How long would it take him to become one? what is needed to prove its not a fake marriage?

Thank you,

OS

Ask this question in the proper forum. You use expats so ask the question on the Canadian immigration site a few links before this one on the forum board.

What does this have to do with a US visa newsgroup? I think you need to look for a
Canadian one.

Again, try misc.immigration.canada. Few if any people here would know details about
Canadian immigration and such questions are off-topic here.
