Default Ideas for Christmas presents

Heya

We just received a catalogue from Kodak with loads of great present ideas, It took me about 15mins to sit and create a 2006 calendar for my mother who is notoriously difficult to shop for. The addy is www.kodakgallery.com.

Ooo great idea think I'll do that for my mother. One of my favourite gift sites is
http://www.greatgifts.org/(wy4xgq55r...tion/home.aspx
Particularly good for those who you don't know what to get, or have enough 'stuff' and great for giving to teachers etc. There are US equivalents such as http://www.angelcovers.org/giftcards.shtml

I know a great pet portrait service (market place section - couldn't resist )

Usually if I can't kind any "american" stuff for folks in the UK, I usually resort to thorntons or amazon

Last Christmas we ordered some unusual gifts on behalf of relatives for the benefit of people in the Third World countries from Oxfam Unwrapped.

We ordered some chicks and chickens (they're not doing it this year) and a cow on behalf of some environmentally aware nieces in England whose parents said they 'have everything' and couldn't think of what we could get for them. Oxfam sends a certificate to say what was purchased as a gift in their name and who the donor was.

It was a huge success.

(This year you can even make a gift of a toilet & cubicle for a Third World country!)

www.greatgifts.org is a similar place for those kind of gifts. I'm buying a bog for the inlaws

For chocs, you can never go wrong with hotelchocolat.co.uk. They have free shipping and way better quality than Thorntons.

Ideal gifts for little boys and girls:

Give little boys an empty box, when they give you a puzzled look tell them it's a G.I Joe deserter!!
