icing sugar
I know some people are not going to be happy about another cookery thread sorry but does anyone know where to get icing sugar or is there a US equivilent also there seems to be a lot of different marzipans around, anyone know the kind closed to what we would use back home.

marizpan is called almond paste over here, its not the same as what we know as marzipan but it works ok

Cost Plus World Market has marzipan, imported from Germany,I've found it in super walmart as well,but you have to buy as soon as you see it or it's sold out, been using it for a few years on my Xmas cake,I found three packs of it just covered the cake with a thick enough layer of marzipan for our taste,wasn't cheap though...cost about $12!,but this year I'm just going to make a Dundee cake instead...found we were just picking the icing off and throwing it away!...and the icing sugar is Confectioners sugar here......Sophia(IL)

LMFAO!!! This could be interpreted as one of two things. I meant food processors, electric can openers, etc. Not the other option. Honest.
