Ah... it was unclear whether or not she'd be entering the US on her L2 in January. If that's the case, then submitting the I-765 at that time should work out fine. She does not need to remain in the US for the EAD to process.

Thats why you're going to mail it... No need for Biometrics.

EAD just states 'Finger Print not available'

There was one minor hick-up...

Apparently, the immigration people thought she had two first names and not a first, middle and surname.

Social Security people noticed this and had to enter her name correctly in the 'other names used' section....

Oh well, cant have it going too smothley can we...
