... on Ebay. :(

I'm new to it and if I'd been online when the auction ended I could have upped my bid.

I wanted Ballerina Sindy so badly. I had this exact same one when I was about 10... Just seeing her in the box made me want to have her! (I know I would have taken her out of the box and played with her though)

Bummer!!

I used to have that one too!

I won my bid on eBay last night; one gameboy advance sp is winging it's way to me as I type!! :D

Man, I'm such a kid!!! LOL

Better luck next time!!

Take care

Tam :)

I had seen the doll on there for about a week! So it wasn't an impulse buy.... the more I thought about it, the more I wanted her! ;)

I did win a few others though.... I collect Mandy Annuals, the ones that came out at Christmas. It's all nostalgia and nonsense, but it's kinda a hobby I suppose.

There will be other Sindy dolls. I'm looking for the Skating one too!

LOL It was the same for me too; the more I saw those gameboys, the more I wanted one!!
My husband just laughed when I told him what I'd bought, then asked if he would be allowed a go on it too!! LOL

MEN - they're all just little boys inside really aren't they?!! :p

Oh ballerina Sindy, how I pined for you and your little pink skirt and immaculate hair on top of your over-sized head!

Nice girly post this....i wanted that ballerina Sindy soooo bad when I was a little girl...but alas had to make do with the Sindy buggy and blow up tent instead...mind you that buggy was really cool!!!

I had one too, she was so pretty. Mine was the one with the joint at the knee, I know some of them didn't have that. I loved that she could sit in my plam and her legs would dangle over the side.

I actually looked that site up a few months ago. It made me all nostalgic seeing her pretty green princess dress :o

I find
www.bidnapper.com
very good - and you get a free trial. Really works as long as you set your bid high enough. No nasty surprises with bidnapper - goes like clockwork.

I remember Pippa!!!

*smiles all nostalgically*

Wow, I've been a tomboy for so many years that I've wiped out any memories of actually owning a doll!! LOL

This has brought back all those memories!

*thumbing through phone book for a therapist*

;) LOL

Did you get carried away then..you bid $75

excpomea Dec 18th 2003 11:06 pm

Another good sniping service is www.esnipe.com
I have lost count of the number of bids that I have won in the last second with their service.

Worst situation is bidding against a newbie bidder, at least with esnipe you don't get into those silly bidding wars.

Set your top price and sit back and watch as your bid is made during the last 4 seconds.

I swear I can hear people screaming "Where the hell did that bid come from? !!!!"

$76 though, for a plastic doll? Some places around here you could get a real one for that much, well for about 30 mins anyway.
