I've been reading and reading and i'm unclear about the bank letter. We meet the 125% poverty level, but only by about $2000.00. I understand that is good. What i'm wondering is, do we still need a letter from the bank? We have a joint account already, not much in savings, but is proof that money has been deposited etc. No bonds or life insurance etc.
The other thing is, does anyone know if I have to have my fiances 3 years worth of tax returns for the interview in Vancouver, B.C? Anyone who's gone through the Vancouver Consulate and would like to share their medical and interview experiences, i would love to hear them. I should be going early to mid May. Good luck to everyone who is waiting!!! |
Unless you have some sizable assets AND your income does not meet the 125%, you
should not disclose bank information. They do not care what you deposit, only what you have left. You would need 5 x the difference between your income and 125% of poverty level. Sounds like you need not do a bank letter. -- Jonathan _/ _/ _/ _/ K-1 Fiance Visa Immigration through to Adjustment of Status http://clik.to/getk1 K-1 & Adjustment of Status Links Page http://clik.to/K1andAOSLinks Newsgroup FAQ http://www.k1faq.com Arnaldo and Alvena's Fiance Visa Page http://www2.apex.net/users/thehydes/ Immigration and Naturalization Service http://www.ins.usdoj.gov {I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice.
