I-130 for Parent
I hold a green card, but cannot try for US Citizenship for another 4 years.
I am an only child, and I'm trying to find a way of getting a green card for my mother to live in the USA.
She has been coming into the US on an H-2 Visa, leaving the US every 6 months, but since 9/11/01, she's having difficulty returning to the US.
Does anyone know if it is possible for a legal permanent resident to sponsor a green card for a parent? If so, how do you go about it?
