Hi

My girlfriend had mailed off the K1 orignal petition to NSC and has recived the 1st NOA. She just arrived here in the UK for Xmas and biught me a copy of all the stuff she sent. On reading through what she had done I noticed she had left the space for my zip/postal code blank! why she did this I donn't know, she said she just missed it. Also she left the two sections for my and her Alien Registration Number black as neither of has one, I know she should have put NONE but will any of these things mean a refusal?

I have also phoned the NSC number to find out the state of our petition, untill it is approved or otherwise does the automated message just say it is not available at this time, is this right??

Thanks in advance

Rich

Get a grip already. You are far too bent out of shape for the minor infractions of your fiancee on completing the I-129F (not the K-1).

Most probably they will not even notice the absence of a zip code because the area is a foreign country (and need I explain why they will miss it) and since neither of you have an A#, they might well overlook the fact that none or n/a is not placed in the little box.

If it were a either or type thing, they would prefer blank as opposed to N/A.

Do hope your fiancee lives to have a great holiday.

Rita

PS NSC will not talk with you as you are not the USC and if it is returned, she is there in the UK and not in the US and will deal with it when she returns home.

PPS You will get the US Richard and will ample opportunities to practice hysterics and temper tantrums

PPPS Your fiance is human; cut her some slack. If you think her that incompetent, why didn't you file out the paperwork and mail it to her for submission
