Well gang, the day has come. I called today and nearly dropped the phone when I did not hear the message I have been hearing for the last four and a half months!!!!
We are approved finally! Thus, our time frame looks as follows: Date Sent: January 22, 2001 First NOA: January 30, 2001 Second NOA/Approval: May 24, 2001 Days from packet sent: 124 days Days from First NOA: 116 days Now, I am wondering. There is a ceremony planned for July 14. Do we have any shot at making it? I did not have the packet cabled to Montreal (kicking self in ass) - any idea on how long it will take to get there? The people at the Consulate said they would fax my fiancee the materials for the packet to expedite things - doesn't she have to call through a calling service rather than the consulate directly to make an appointment, or is there any way to contact les habitantes in Montreal for an appointment? Can she make that appt now or wait until Montreal receives the packet? We have approximately seven weeks - has anyone else made it within that time frame? Any advice or input is a tremendous help as always - Jonathan |

That way they can get the information sent out to her before they actually get the approval from TSC. The phone number the Montreal Consulate is 514-398-9695 Fax Number: 514-398-9748 Congrats to you ... I'm in Canada too and the wait is getting unbearable |
