Since 1953, Atlantic tropical storms have been named from lists originated by the National Hurricane Center. They are now maintained and updated by an international committee of the World Meteorological Organization.

Well I guess we had better stock up on drinking water and the other usual essentials. We are lucky in this part of FL, we don't get many hurricanes. We may feel the effects but we never get a direct hit, at least up to now.

Pasco County is pretty safe.

It only affected 2000 residents, not a big disaster by any means. Thankfully I was still in the UK then. I doubt my wife who has lived here for 9 years has even heard about this.

I would call it big enough....
