We are 12 miles from Surfside Beach and the voluntary evacuation is in effect here in Brazoria county already. Should we panic yet or not??????????? ;)

Anyone in South Florida? Not good there for sure.
I'm monitoring it on my mocked but still accurate weather website, which actually for you ladies there would be a good site, since it's based over in your neck of the woods. Here's the address-it does btw, take a while to load but then I'm on dial up.

It will only rain.... so long as you are on high ground and not underneath defective levees, you'll be okay. ;)

(don't move into the Trinity River floodplain)

We never get much effect this far inland (150 miles) and you're about 250+ miles inland. I may, however, have to go help my parents evacuate from Corpus Christi. :( as if I didn't already have enough to do!
