A security scare in the US has prompted global banking giant HSBC to send out warning letters to 180,000 customers..."

Hats off to HSBC. If it were a US bank, they'd either be trying to cover it up or looking for someone to blame.

I think i read that it was only customers who had shopped at Ralph Lauren Polo stores whose accounts were then compromised. For some reason i can't find the article i read that on though...

Aye, state by state regulations as to whether or not a place needs to inform customers if there has been a security breach...
