Howdy Folks, First Post Here
I've been reading the USA forum for ages now so I thought it was time I joined in. I've been here for almost 3 years after moving over to be with my USC wife.
Anyway, I found a link (no I'm not advertising so don't ban me!
) that the Beeb are trying to shut down because it shows their Ceefax pages. Just in case anyone's feeling nostalgic for it, here you go...

Thanks for the warm welcome guys - it's nice to join a community of Brits who know what an experience it is to live over this side of the pond.
Anyone planning to celebrate St George's day? I will be and hopefully I'll find some beer in addition to Newky Brown and Boddingtons. Not much choice in this region unfortunately!

Hah Hah it's April 23rd. I've been celebrating it for about 5 years as I was sick of all the squit surrounding St Patricks Day and wanted our own patron saint to get some recognition.
Actually in Norwich there was a court case last year as a landlord wanted his pub to stay open late on that day. His application was refused so he took it to court. The only way he could stay open was to make the evening a charity occasion. Yet he was able to open late for St Paddy's day with no problem at all.
And the Brown Ale was much appreciated, cheers mate!
