Personally I listen to Steve Wright on Radio 2...

...What? Whats wrong with that ffs?

I'm partial to a bit of Steve Wright myself and Mark Radcliffe's show is good. I was a big Mark and Lard fan. US radio is shite by and large.

Agreed Sarah! The humour is just too 'obvious' here you know what I mean?
You don't need a brain to find stuff funny is the states, and as for a sense of irony, forget about it!

Steve Wright is okay but I do find the way he talks over the songs he plays a bit irritating, he seems to love the sound of his own voice.

Bob and Tom are quite funny I listen to them in the mornings, they usually have comedians on as guests who can be entertaining.

One thing I have noticed about local UK radio people is they have a radio talk voice which is very annoying, you know what I mean they sound overly happy and go up and down with their voices and laugh in the middle of sentences. I havent noticed that too much over here.

I enjoy Bob and Tom too, but sometimes their laughter just seems really fake. That's annoying.

yes have to agree. They have some great guests though. Actually one of their comedian guests did a monologue once that was really funny it was about him dating teenage girls and all they do is chew gum and twitter etc, the way he told it was hysterical. Bob and Tom kept repeating the monologue for ages after and eventually a few months later they got the same guy back and he did the exact same sketch, it was a bit embarrassing because no one was laughing and in the end the comedian said hey come on this is priceless material! no one told him.

I really don't get why he's so popular.

Any thoughts?
