How can I continue to watch all the F1 races when we move to the US?

Have seen this from NowTV which includes daily payment for 24 hours access to Sky Sports (including Sky Sports F1). Costs £9.99 each time but as I only watch F1 on Sky I'll only pay each time there's a race on. Can get a separate box or via PS3 etc.

This, in conjunction with a VPN (I assume I'd need one) would seem to make it possible.
Are there any other alternatives?

NBC Sports shows F1 in the US (if you can handle the commentary and adverts)

I don't like the NBC coverage much, so I use a UK DNS service, which allows me to then watch via iPlayer on my PC (connected to the TV) or iPad when at home. THe good thing about the DNS service is that it doesn't limit your internet speed at all (A VPN will). It just makes the destination website think you're in the UK.

I also use a UK VPN surface for when I'm out and about, and want to watch UK TV on my iPad. I recently changed to HideMyAss, and so far it's been exceptionally reliable, never an issue streaming iPlayer (or ITV, C4 etc) when I'm at the gym.

I'll be going to the Austin F1 in October as well, went last year, it's a really good event.

Just like you'd watch anything else.

The tele...it is on if you've got the right sports packages, or via VPN, or via various online streaming sites like wiziwig mentioned above. It's a good site though, using AceStream for better quality feeds which also work on Android devices quite nicely.

The adverts are a pain in the rear end, although they do side by side screens now for most of them.

Lee Dippy needs taking out back and leaving there, Hobbs and Matchet aren't too bad, at least you get English humour with the commentary.

I'm a recent returnee to Formula 1, I do this......

VPN for BBC broadcast races.
Wiziwig for non BBC races.
I don't have cable, I did find the British commentary talent on US broadcast to be very annoying.

Was also annoying for the World Cup, although the ESPN web interface was impressive. Still preferred the BBC coverage though. Same for F1, though I wish Jake had never left.

Side-by-side would be "better" if they didn't shrink down the whole damn screen before showing them.

They also keep showing these crappy "retrospectives" about things (drivers, races, whatever) during the "live" coverage. WTF is this super-slo-mo driver posing thing anyhow?

I really like the Sky F1 coverage and commentary. Much better than BBC but you do have to pay for it with a Sky subscription. Looks like if I want Sky F1 NowTV may be the only option.
Guess I'll try the other options first and see if it's worth paying.

Or it comes out of the side by side and instead of going to the race you get a promo for some other event full screen.

I do think Martin Brundle is very good. I know it's a personal thing but I think being a former driver gives him an insight that most others don't have. I did enjoy Murray though, even if he did get a bit muddled up at times.
