how to pay for the medical in Frankfurt?
Hello everyone,
I was going to go and have my medical done tomorrow in Frankfurt but when I looked through the information I got from the consulate I couldn't find anything on how to pay for the medical exam. Do they take cards, checks, cash or do you need to pay up front? Does anyone know?
I have also read posts where people said they had to fill out a questionaire and then turn it in at the doctor's office. Do you receive that questionaire there or should I have gotten it with my packet 3?
Thanks for your help!

Well... I don't know of it will help, but in Holland it was cash only. I asked the
doctor's assistant why this was (as I was gonna stay in Holland for at least 4
more months i'd rather got a bill) and she said it was because I was about to
leave the country.
I guess you'll have to pay cash in Germany as well.... for the same reason
You could technically be on a plane a few days later and they want to
make sure they get paid.

I received mine at the doctor's office. But again... this was in Holland, not in
Germany

1. Take cash, it's the safest way; or call the doctor's office to confirm what is
acceptable - I have seen some people making out checks.
2. The medical questionnaire is usually a standard one given at doctor's offices -
i.e. past illnesses etc. Usually, it has no correlation with the INS paperwork.

Thanks girls =). Seems like cash is the way to go then. I just hate to carry around that kind of money.
Thanks for the replies.

Basri had his medical in Frankfurt last week. He was told cash only. It wasn't
very expensive - since he didn't have any vaccinations, but I don't recall the
exact amount.
