How many years resident before applying for US Citizenship?
My UK husband (we were already married, but less than 2 years) arrived in the US on a CR-1 Visa. Is it 3 years or 5 years that he must be resident in the US before he can apply for citizenship? I'm thinking it's 3 years; that the 5-year rule applies to immigrants who were not married when they entered the US.
Cheers.

If married to a US spouse it is 3 years minus 90 days from permanent residency approval.

so looking at the timeline, your husband may apply in and around September 2007.
