This is a list of the states I haven't been to:
Alaska
Hawaii
North Dakota
South Dakota
Michigan
New Mexico
Delaware
Minnesota
Wisconsin
Oklahoma
Admittedly, I've been generous in some case when I say visited as that means "driven through on the Interstate".
I should have a little road trip north some time as I could knock off a couple more then.

Well if you drive across the country and back you're going catch a lot of them, but i've been to all of them except North Dakota. I have flown over N.D. in a small aircraft though so I was not much more than a mile above most of it. I don't know if that counts?

How about the Worst state you've ever been to? I'm going to have to say Maine in January. If a Judge offered me 30 days in a maximum security prison or 30 days in Maine in the winter, I'd have to seriously think about it.

It wasn't the cold, it was the overall gloominess of the place. The sky was grey, the ground was grey, the trees were grey, the ocean was grey and even the birds were grey. If everything wasn't slightly different shades of grey you would'nt know which was was up or down there

Very few!
If the decider is leaving the airport, then I am up to 5
but New Jerey was getting a bus from the airport to New York (and I never left the city of NY, on both visits)
In California and Florida, I never left the city where the airport was (SF and Orlando).
Only Washington and Oregon have been visited to any real degree.
I am fairly well travelled on a global scale (50/55 or so countries), but not in America.

Either have spend some time in or driven through, not including airport stops.
Massachusetts
New Hampshire
Maine
Vermont
Connecticut
Rhode Island
New York
Pennsylvania
North Carolina
Florida
Ohio
Iowa
Indiana
Illinois
Nebraska
Minnesota
Wisconsin
Wyoming
Montana
California
Colorado
All ranging from a few hours to a few years.
Airport stops
New Jersey
Georgia
Utah
Until I counted them up, I didn't realise that I had been in so many different States. Don't answer that one
