See it's a bit of a narrow question that one, it's like me asking how many pairs of Blahnik's do you own!

I think I might have been quite near Gettysburg once.

West Virginia - a very important distinction back then...

I fully recommend visiting Appomattox, where the final surrender occurred.

As with all battlefields, very sad places. :(

Some of those on your list had the "honor" of being fought on/at several times, in several wars.

That's The General at Kennesaw/Big Shanty, GA. Down in my neck of the woods.
Been to quite a few of those sites. Love me some Civil War stuff.

Not the civil war, but have walked the Minute Man trail, Concord to Lexington, MA

Not a bad walk...does go all the way into Boston though which is another 12 miles. Has the sites all listed along the way, such and such officer killed, doctors house, where Revere was captured etc.

Speaking of Revere though, also lived not far from Castine, ME, where he was the artillery officer, was put up for court martial and house arrest for incompetence, cowardice and dereliction of duty in the one and only battle he took part in...he's got a bit of a different image to the folks in Maine than to the rest of the country

The story in Vermont, is that Ethan Allen died from falling off a hay wagon drunk and broke his neck. :D

I went to Fort Stevens in Washington, DC, the only the second time where a US president was directly under enemy fire (Lincoln went up to watch the battle and the guy next to him got shot).
