How long for K3?

How long for K3?
Hi everybody,
I just sent out my K3 application today (I-129F). I found a bunch of websites for processing times for the INS service centers, but none regarding the Chicago address where I sent my K3? Does anyone know how long it will take for them to process my K3 application, what dates are they processing now? Will I receive any notices from them?
Ps-What happens if the I-130 is approved before the K3?
Thanks.
CLAUDIA

Just look at the Missouri place. If you sent it to a Chicago address, then
it is there.

The web site is MDUdall's which if you have read any of this board, you
would have seen the name.
I hope this helps......

I was just reading a report from the MSC that came in today, and this string seems like an appropriate place to share that information. Its information that I've given before, however it’s a new version of the same information from the MSC (and it does not hurt to list this sort of thing more than once).
At an October 16th meeting, it was asked, "What is the REAL processing time on I-129f petitions?"
The MSC answer was, "The date on the Bi-Weekly progress report is accurate to a point. Virtually all of the cases that have done well beyond the current processing times (60 days) are located in Operations pending clearance following positive IBIS hits. The date on the process report means that all petitions received prior to that date have gone to the "floor" ready to be worked or adjudicated. The progress report does not mean that all cases received prior to the date have actually been adjudicated. Only that they have gone to the floor for adjudication. Actual adjudication could take another week or two (longer if there are positive IBIS hits and the case has to go to Operations). Remember that priorities and workload can affect processing times as the MSC shifts their resources from one area to another in an ongoing effort to keep all backlogs to a minimum. That means, for example, that today there may be 10 officers adjudicating I-129f petitions but for the next two weeks there may only be one officer working I-129f's.
Good luck with your case,
Regards,

As much respect as i have for u Matt, MSC needs to get off there butts
and process these case's! They promised a faster way than the K1 and
now!!! I understand the need for security after 9/11 but I see the INS
useing this as an excuse. They are civil service and need updating, if
TSC can getup to speed so can they! Just venting....sorry Matt! Mike C
