LoL effi and we have them all summer ! and ditto hotels, ditto golf course fees. Those errr mobile homes for some reason they head to the casino park up and spend all summer in air conditioned bliss while gambling all their pensions away, its a wonder they can afford gas to get back to dear old Arizona hehe.

You wanna try living in Arizona. We have the 'snowbirds' here from Sept to March. They come in from every state in the US. The driving is atrocious and the accident rates skyrocket. Also the hotel prices go up, the golf course prices go up, and try getting into a restaurant, especially if they have any kind of deals on, they queue up like something is being given away for free. Also the doctor's waiting rooms look like retirement homes. Most of them have mobile homes on sites out at Apache Junction, it is called 'geezer city', don't go there.

Sunbirds cause havoc on the roads here in FL too. they potter about looking for early bird or happy hour specials- getting in everyone's way in rush hour traffic- sometimes with a bang. Sideswiping is rife- cos they can't seem to stay in their own lane- and just pulling out of places without looking! Everything is more expensive and crowded here in Winter too- but Florida needs the income they generate...I just wish they'd take their bleeding car keys off them when they cross the State line.
