How long before a new thread on...

Watching PAL DVD's on an American TV or DVD player?
I estimate there is at least one every 2 weeks.

while we are on the subject... can i watch my japanese imported DVD's on my DVD player that was imported from Australia, using a transformer wired into my washer/dryer and lightbulb?

and if do this and cause a short circuit and/or fire, will my insurance policy underwritten by a company in the Sudan cover me?

Yes but as the claims office is in Pyongyang, any claim check will be in North Korean Won and worthless.
