How long after they cash I-129f check?
 

Just wondering if anyone knows about how long it takes to get a second NOA after the check has been cashed?
I got my first NOA for my I-129f, and they cashed the check earlier this week.

when did they initially receive your original submission?

i'm just curious as i just sent mine in to VSC last week.

Hi, I sent my I129F on 9/9/02 to CSC. I received my 1st NOA, which stamped
9/11/02, on 9/12/02. They cashed the check on 9/11/02. I check my case status
today 10/10/02, the INS on-line services shows case approved on 10/9/02. Not
bad, it took 29 days. I should received 2nd NOA within a few days by mail.

here is my little timeline:

Sept 23- mailed I-129f
Sept 25- it was recieved at VSC
Sept 28-NOA1 sent
Oct 4- got NOA1 in the mail
Oct 7- they cashed my check

thanks for the timeline. here's mine:

September 27 - Sent original submission of I-129F to Vermont Service Center
September 30 - VSC receives submission per return receipt
October - Audits begin and are to run for about 2 weeks
October 10 - Vermont cashes check for filing fee of $110

as you can see, they cashed my check before i received my first NOA which i
thought was odd, but then there is an audit going on which i guess accounts
for the delay on the NOA.

steff, you didn't know before hand that your first NOA was sent right? I
assume you put Sept.28 in your timeline which you got from the postmark.

actually my NOA was postmarked oct 1st but on the NOA paper, in the box labled notice date it says sept 28th
if you get anything new, please post it! since our timelines look like they are going to be pretty close
