The hour is almost upon me!!!

Re: The hour is almost upon me!!!
Hello everyone!! we're here and we're a little jet lagged! But happy! The flight was a little spoilt by my worries about Leo being in the hold! However I needn't have been so anxious as he looked a darn site better than me when I collected him from the ARC! Interestingly the ARC was Chocca with returning expats collecting their pets! I feel great if tired, it is absolutely freezing here! Luckily we don't have snow here in Pompey but it is currently 0 degrees!! I don't mind though, actually I walked to the shop this morning and it was quite nice and crisp!
So I've been out for a lovely meal with mum, and last night a few drinks with mates, how strange it is not UK have bouncers quiz you, harass you and stare into your eyes!!! Very pleasant indeed! People have been universally friendly, courteous and cheerful! I've coped with shops and wondering if I pack my own bags etc.... Everything is so cheap!
I updated the blog while waiting to collect Leo at Heathrow, but I will write more soon, the most palpable feeling is one of relief, even being understood and not having to repeat yourself is fab..
Good luck everyone! and please don't worry about your pets, they seem
take it in their stride, and they are lovely at the ARC

Pleased to hear that you and Leo have made it back to Blighty safely.
Enjoy the wintry weather (which I rather miss) and then spring is just around the corner - lucky you.
I look forward to reading more updates/your blog in the coming weeks.
All the best.
