Hot plates for hot food - PLEASE..
AM I alone... in insisting restaurants that serve hot food should do so on Hot plates.
I've taken to refusing most hot foods in half decent restaurants (read > $15 for a meal) unless it's served it on HOT PLATES.
A good steak and some vegetables served on a cold plate is cold food by the time I've taken the 2nd bite.
If I'm not alone can i ask we ALL start refusing to eat off of Cold Plates. It's the only way these restaurants will change when food starts coming back.
<end of rant>

I can't say that it's anything that's ever bothered or even occured to me. Actually, I'm usually sitting next to my 3 yr old who likes to grab for everything on the table so I would rather the plate be cold and not have to worry about him burning himself. Sorry!

It generally doesn't bother me, but sometimes, yeah, a hot plate can make the difference, and would be nice...

You are a deep well of complaints, dear.
Wonder if you demand that Mrs. Frank heats the plates before serving your dinner or if the other cold thing you get is the shoulder at bed time.

Are you one of those types who always looks at the hygeine certificate at restaurants?

Please, share the horrendous experiences of everything that goes on in restaurants, mainly the things we, the customers, cannot see......
