Initial FICO Score
Hi guys,
I've been given an initial FICO score of 670.
Is that a normal initial score?
Cheers.

Re: Initial FICO Score
That seems slap bang mediocre, so probably about right.
Your lack of history will be more of a deciding factor for certain types of credit.

Re: Initial FICO Score
It depends on how long you have been here. Be aware that there are about 50 different FICO scores.
Keeping credit used as a low (10%) proportion of credit approved, prompt payment and length accounts have been held are all significant factors.

Re: Initial FICO Score
The first time I saw my score it was something like 750. Six years later and lack of history is still a big factor.
